My favorite winter accessories? Leggings and cute winter dress boots! Add in silk long underwear top, a cute scarf and hat (and gloves) and I’m ready to go. New York is a funny place. It could be very cold (below zero Fahrenheit) or unseasonably warm and rainy. I would bring a light waterproof trench with a down liner if possible. One thing that is guaranteed – there will be a huge difference between the temperature outside and the one inside so dress in layers!

Great advice! Most of the Traveling Divas are Aussies so anything below about 40-45F is getting pretty cold for us, so I always suggest that Aussies go heavy duty in the thermals and layering stakes. Boots are a must have!

Thanks for adding to the collective wisdom!
